Fee Schedule

Our transparent fee schedule is designed for U.S. Department of Defense personnel, military families, civilian employees, and contractors seeking English-speaking medical care in Tokyo. We proudly welcome patients from Yokota Air Base, Yokosuka Naval Base, Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Camp Zama, and other installations throughout the Kanto region.

Please note that some prices may decrease or increase depending on the complexity of the case and the exact service rendered.  Please ask your provider during your appointment for costs of additional tests, procedures, and services.

All prices are listed in Japanese Yen and inclusive of 10% consumption tax. 

Prices are subject to change without notice based on product availability and other market factors.

Basic Fees

Initial Consultation to Establish Care (includes medical certificate for insurance claim):  22,000 

In-house Prescription Dispensing Fee: 3,300 ~ 

Follow-up Visit: 9,900 ~ 13,200 (price varies depending on complexity)

Telehealth Consultation: same as in-person prices above 

After-hours/weekends/holidays surcharge: 

• Evenings (5:30pm-10:00pm): + 7,000

• Saturdays (1:00pm - 10:00pm): +8,000 

• Sundays/Holidays (7:00am - 10:00pm): + 10,000

Tests

Blood tests: Typically 10,000 ~20,000 

Urine Test: 2,200 

Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG): 6,600

Other

Referral Letter (to Japanese hospital): 4,400

Medical Summary Letter (for continuity of care when relocating): 15,000 ~ (price varies depending on complexity)

Example #1

Establish Care with blood work for general check-up

Initial Consultation: 22,000 

Blood work: 12,000 (Complete metabolic panel, complete blood count, lipid panel, Hemoglobin A1C)

Total due at time of visit : 34,000 JPY

Final cost after insurance reimbursement (after meeting deductible):

10% Copay → ¥3,400 or ~$21

Many insurers fully cover annual health maintenance visits. Please check with your insurer beforehand.

Fever, sore throat, cough (established patient) 
Follow-up visit: 13,200 

COVID-19/Influenza Rapid Antigen Test: 5,500 

In-House Prescription Dispensing Fee: 3,300 

Medications (cough suppressant, expectorant, antibiotics, etc): ~ 1000

Total due at time of visit: 23,000 JPY

Final cost after insurance reimbursement (after meeting deductible):

10% Copay → ¥2,300 or ~$14 

20% Copay → ¥4,600 or ~$28
